New information and service portal “Migration Citizenship Education” active

The portal Migration Citizenship Education provides e.g. analyses, data, human rights documents, maps, film clips, photos, links on migration, minorities and human rights in Europe in English.

The portal is composed of four areas: Migration in History, European Policy, Country Profiles and Good Practice Projects. Behind the network is an interdisciplinary information and skills forum that links migration experts, multiplicators, students and pupils in European joint projects.

The goal of the network is to provide information on migration, human rights, minorities and development in the European, transnational and global context. Together with civil society, education, culture, and science organisations, the network is committed to discuss learning approaches and action models for migration and human rights.

The work of the Migration in Europa e.V. network comprises the newsletter Migration and population and migration expert database; the information portal, e-learning websites and training seminars on migration, minorities and human rights, projects on migration, ethnic conflicts and development, memory and reconciliation; the platform for scientific dialogue, applied migration research and consultancy; conferences, summer schools, workshops, publications, evaluation and intercultural organisational development.

The network is based in Berlin, Germany. It is sponsored by the EU in the Active European Citizenship programme.
