CROATIAN EDUCATORS INTO LEARNING ORGANIZATIONS
The article first describes briefly the main characteristics of the educational system of the Republic of Croatia and development tendencies: from traditional to European educational space. The Croatian teacher training should be geared towards learning organization in the change of the higher education system. Teacher training is analysed as too uniform and standardized for harmonization, compatibility and comparability with the programmes in European higher education. MULTI-NATIONAL REALITY – CROATS IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
The State of Bosnia and Herzegovina is composed of three constituent nations with equal rights, and two entities with their own constitutions. "Dayton’s Constitution" defines education, science, culture and sport under the Cantonal Government. Textbooks (as well as programs) for primary and secondary school, and for higher education are separate for all the three nations, in separate languages. In education, science and culture, Croats, as the least numerous nation, fear being overruled by in particular the Bosniaks in the Federation. That would be detrimental to their language, education system and culture, as well as to their identity.

PLANNED HEALTH BEHAVIOUR CHANGE. AN EXAMPLE OF INTERVENTION MAPPING
Health promotion helps us to maintain or improve quality of life by means of education and by creating conditions that are beneficial for our health and our social environment. Intervention Mapping (IM) is a protocol for the design of theory- and evidence-based health education and health promotion programs. It provides guidelines and tools for their development. They are based on needs assessments among target populations, analyses of theory-based options for corrective action, and collaborative planning. IM and its application is illustrated in relation to HIV prevention amongst IV drug users in the Netherlands.
