Magda Trantallidi: CV

Magda Trantallidi has been a member of the LLinE Editorial Board since 2000. Her field of expertise is adult education and lifelong learning policy and practice. Since 1988 she has been Head of Department for International Cooperation in the Adult Education department of the Greek Ministry of Education. With an educational background in Law (University of Athens) and Political science (Paris VIII), she turned educationalist with studies in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning Theory and Practice, at postgraduate (Florence) and doctoral level (Nottingham, UK). Since 1994 she has been investigating policy related issues and she has worked extensively, as a manager and evaluator, on a range of transnational partnerships in education, training, social inclusion and gender mainstreaming projects under the programmes of the European Commission. As an active member of networks and associations that promote lifelong learning and active citizenship in Europe, she has contributed to initiatives involving the development of educational policy for adults.
